To be a true Superhero you will need:

  1. A distinctive costume, including a mask
  2. A catchy name that will be on everyone’s lips
  3. Special powers – think about whether you were born with these, like superman, or whether a remarkable event triggered them, like those of Spider-Man and The Hulk
  4. A trademark weapon
  5. A strong moral code – that mean you must promise to do only good protect all animals
  6. Secret headquarters
  7. You might also want a partner to help fight poachers, like Batman’s Robin

Your Secret Identity:

So you fancy protecting the animals from villains like the Poacher?
The first thing you’ll need is a name! You might want to keep your first name and tag on a punchy second one, as Albert Amazing and Bella Blaze have done. It’s best to choose on that begins with the same letter for added effect! For example, if your name is Steven, your second name could be Storm; if you’re called Amanda, you could add Andromeda.

Badge of Honour:

badgeEvery superhero needs a badge, something that people will recognises. It should reflect your super-powers and character. You could always use the initials or your superhero name in the badge. Decorate it with paint and glitter to add some sparkle and ask your Mom or Dad to pin it to your outfit.

Superhero Mask:

maskGive your costume extra pa-zaz and decorate your mask to match your badge. Your mask can be as scary or fun as you wish. It's up to you to be as imaginative as possible. Ask your Mom and Dad to tie some string around the ends, so the mask will fit perfectly around your superhero head.

Create Your Own Emblem:

emblemEvery Superhero has their own personal emblem that defines them as an individual.
Spiderman’s emblem has a spider, batman’s has a bat, Superman’s has the big ‘S’ for SUPER!
Create your own emblem that defines you as a Superhero, draw in the animals that you will protect, or a symbol of the superhero powers that you may have.
You may even want to come up with something original, go wild!
